Founded at the end of the 70's and originally as Hotel Cordillera, located in the heart of El Bolsón, Río Negro, Patagonia Argentina, it was the meeting point for those travelers on the extensive Ruta 40 de Gravel. For many years it was visited by local tourists either to discover the charming valley of El Bolsón or for work trips. With the influx of foreign tourists, amazed by the breadth and nature that El Bolsón offers, the Cordillera Hotel was gaining its position to become throughout the 90s and early 2000s in the reference point of the Andean Parallel Comarca 42 , after a complete remodeling, giving rise to its new name and administration, Hotel Comarca. New categories of rooms are introduced, according to the number of guests and amenities. It was presented to the first movements of Internet tourism and accompanied the growth of the area, receiving tourists and contingents from different parts of the world. New services being the first hotel and only hotel to incorporate an Events Room and a Business Lounge, giving a leap in quality and service.
